As you know, tonight, your homework is to finish the first draft of your Critical Literary Essays. Although I told you to go ahead and take a night off from reading (gasp! could it be? a night without reading?! I know, it sounds like the world could be coming to an end!), if you’d like to get extra credit and post this evening, here’s your chance.
Since we are in the midst of our essays on A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, I would like to see some of your best thinking about that novel. Today, instead of a Criteria for Success (for tonight’s extra credit post), please neatly type a paragraph (or 2 or 3 or the whole thing if you’d like!) of your essay so far. I know it isn’t in its perfect finalized form yet, but I’d love to see what you’re proud of at this point. Please share your thinking and your writing about A Tree Grows in Brooklyn with the rest of the reading and writing world!
–NO CRITERIA FOR SUCCESS– Just type some of your essay in the comment space and share your wicked writing with the world! (check out the alliteration on that puppy! :))
